Building on a foundation as a national food service distributor since 1981, the company introduced its first retail product — fresh packaged greens. The development of Heritage Fare Greens Seasoning followed soon after and was met with immediate success. Tested in select retail chains across the Midwest and East, the product received tremendous customer response and, within months, was available in more than 100 retail stores.

Today, through strategic product development and marketing, Heritage Fare continues to expand its offerings, with several established products on shelves and more exciting formulations underway under the Heritage Fare brand.

Among the most popular are our spicy catfish coating, herb-and-spice fish coating, and sweet potato pie seasoning.
A distinctive blend of rich, mouth-watering flavors and spices. In 1998, Heritage Fare introduced its Chicken Wing Sauce and acquired Savory Soul Sauce, another Minority- and family-owned brand whose barbecue sauce has been a Cleveland favorite since 1969. The launch of the company’s website in 1997 further extended Heritage Fare’s reach, opening both online retail and international market opportunities.

Heritage Fare products are now distributed through major retailers, including Wal-Mart stores in Ohio, Jewel-Osco stores in the Chicago area, and Kroger stores across Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina.
